Suggest you Google it, there are several websites about the Island and its history you may find interesting.
The Island is now privately owned, and I don't think there is currently any public access. There is certainly no ferry.How to get to Drake's Island (Plymotuh - UK)?
Drakes Island Is so nice. I suggest you deefenetily go there. The beach is ahhmazing and there is some fun stuff to do around there to.
